The way SARquavitae delivers and organises its services is constantly evolving to respond to today’s healthcare challenges. These improvements focus onprevention, chronic care and individualised attention.
SARquavitae innovates in three main areas:

• Social innovation
In order to do this it has set up the Innovation Committee, whose members are renowned professionals in their areas of expertise. These are both internal and external experts in the sector. The purpose of this committee is to identify, evaluate and propose innovative products and lines of business, in accordance with the guidelines provided by the SARquavitae strategy.
The SARquavitae Innovation area has worked hard to design, carry out and validate the company’s Innovation Management Procedure. The procedure identifies activities and tasks to be performed in different areas of the company, innovative ideas which are transformed into improvements to the care provided or to the final service. The purpose of this procedure is to have a formal, cross-cutting work system, which is both results-oriented and is designed to satisfy the health and wellbeing needs of our clients by providing them with services that add value to the services offered by SARquavitae from its healthcare platform.

We have designed and introduced Area Technical Healthcare Coordinators (ATHC).
With regard to technological innovation the following are important to the day-to-day management of the company:
• Time management and planning system.
• Integrated, multidisciplinary system for recording healthcare information.
• CRM integrated with corporate systems.
• Employee intranet and website.
• Mobility systems for doctors providing domiciliary care (tablets).
When it comes to therapeutic innovations, we have introducted new practices that have a direct impact on the quality of the care we deliver:

Project for assessment and intervention of users’ nutritional needs – NUTRISARq.
The guide to good practices for caring for people with Alzheimer’s and other types of neurocognitive disorders – COGNISARq.
Use of a texturiser when preparing meals for users with specific needs.
