The Gregorio Sánchez day centre is in the town of Villaconejos (Madrid).

The Atalaya Centre is located between the hospital area and the new university. It has access to the national 121 highway and is easy to reach from the centre of Tudela. It is surrounded with green zones and is a convenient walk away from a sports area. Local buses make it easy to get to anywhere in Tudela.

The Atalaya Integral Disability care centre offers day centre and residential services. It cares for people with moderate, severe or profound intellectual disabilities with complex behavioural or multiple disabilities, who need permanent, extensive and generalised support and who require specialist treatment. It has a behavioural unit that looks after people with mild and moderate disabilities suffering from serious behavioural problems.

It offers accommodation services, meals, healthcare and enabling and rehabilitation programmes, personal and adjustment programmes and leisure and free time programmes.

Users of these centres benefit from comprehensive attention that meets their needs for extensive, generalised support, personal and social programmes, medical and nursing care and rehabilitation therapy and occupational therapy focused on normalisation.

SARquavitae Mont Martí Disability Care Unit

Our SARquavitae Mont Martí Disability Care Unit is in the town of Puig-Reig, in the province of Barcelona. The serenity of the town offers residents a welcoming stay, and helps to improve quality of life. We provide them in an environment that includes all the cultural heritage of traditional Catalonia.

We provide comprehensive care services for children, adolescents and adults, with extensive and/or generalised need for support, in some cases presenting behavioural disorders or autism spectrum disorders.

In the case of children and adolescents, the centre offers a complete residential service, combining assistance during school hours at the special school in Berguedà, with the aim of providing the personalised educational resource that is required in each case.

The centre is divided into 12 cohabitation units. Each of these units has its own dining room, living room and additional facilities that make it possible to provide our residents with absolutely personalised care.

At SARquavitae Mont Martí we offer residents and their families technical and human resources comprising the best professionals who attend to them around the clock.

SARquavitae Mont Martí has 60 places, which are partly subsidised with the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Vencerol Sheltered Accommodation

The Vencerol Sheltered Accommodation facility is in Sarriguren. It is designed for people with mild or moderate disabilities, who are independent and well developed skills that allow them live independently with the support of monitors.

These sheltered accommodation facilities are an option for people with a moderate level of disability, encouraging relationships and cohabitation in a family-type setting, giving users the highest possible level of independence.

They receive care and attention 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. This means that residents can carry out everyday tasks as though they were at home, which includes cleaning and caring for the rooms, personal hygiene, caring for their clothes, dealing with household waste and personal shopping. With minimal supervision and a high quality of life, users have the necessary resources to lead a fully independent life and can integrate, as naturally as possible, in the surrounding environment, both inside and especially outside the building.

Many work in occupational centres, decide for themselves when to go out and even when to come back to the flat, use public transport, are able to manage money and go shopping, and have sentimental relationships.

They are provided with educational workshops for cognitive stimulation or life management skills, as well as leisure activities which form part of an independent lifestyle. In the best of cases, users are eventually able to move into completely private accommodation and require no further help.

Valle del Roncal Integral Disability Care Centre – CAIDIS

The Valle de Roncal Integral Disability Care Centre – CAIDIS is at the foot of Monte San Cristóbal, in the La Chantrea, neighbourhood, inside the Psychogeriatric Hospital, in an area replete with gardens and walks.

It is all built on one floor and divided into residential units.

The Valle del Roncal Integral Disability Care cares for people with moderate, severe and profound, who need permanent, extensive, generalise support. It offers accommodation, meals, medical and healthcare, psycho-social care, rehabilitation and skills programmes and social and personal adjustment services as well as free time and leisure activities.

The Argüelles Day Centre for People with Physical Disabilities is in the Chamberí neighbourhood of central Madrid.

Alicia Koplowitz Residential Centre for People with Multiple Sclerosis

The Alicia Koplowitz Residential Centre for People with Multiple Sclerosis is the first centre in Spain specialising in this type of condition. The centre is in the Vicálvaro district of Madrid. It cares for adults with disabilities caused by Multiple Sclerosis and other degenerative diseases causing a high level of dependency.

SARquavitae Smith has a multidisciplinary team specialised professionals to care for users suffering from multiple sclerosis, who provide care focused on their needs and their users’ individual wishes.

The centre offers medical, social and psychological care; therapeutic workshops, physiotherapy, social integration programs, speech therapy, rehabilitation and occupational therapy; as well as adapted transport for users of the day centre. The centre also offers innovative physiotherapy rehabilitation techniques and complementary therapies, all in the medical area. It organises various social and cultural activities outside the centre and has a training programme for families of residents and users.

The Coslada Nursing Home and Day Centre for People with Severe Psychiatric Disabilities specialises in caring for people with psychiatric disabilities who have a high level of dependency.

The centre provides medical and social rehabilitation, nursing, physiotherapy, psychotherapy and adapted transport service, as well as treatments, complementary therapies and external cultural activities, together with training for family members. Located in the town of Cordovilla (Navarre) close to the Sadar football ground, the Infanta Elena Integral Disability care centre – CAIDIS specialises in caring for people with physical disabilities, brain damage similar conditions, and multiple disabilities. The Iturrama Sheltered Accommodation is in Pamplona, in the Iturrama neighbourhood, close to the Navarre Hospital Complex, the health centre and the bus station. There are taxi ranks and other public transport options nearby. There are both blue and orange zone parking spots in the vicinity.

This accommodation is designed for people with a mild or moderate degree of disability who are independent and have a certain level of ability to live independently with support.

These sheltered accommodation facilities are an option for people with a moderate level of disability. They encourage residents to form relationships and to live together in a family-type setting, giving users the highest possible level of independence.

They receive care and attention 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. This means that residents can carry out everyday tasks as though they were at home, which includes cleaning and caring for the rooms, personal hygiene, caring for their clothes, dealing with household waste and personal shopping.

With supervision and support, the aim is to improve their quality of life. To achieve this, users are provided with the resources they need to lead the most independent life possible, encouraging their integration in the neighbourhood, community and their surroundings in the most natural way possible.

All residents of these flats have jobs. Many of them work at occupational centres, but some of them even have regular jobs in ordinary companies. This independence extends to allowing them to decide when they will go out, when they will come home and to use public transport. They are able to manage money and go shopping, and just like everyone else, to experience the joy and pain of personal and sentimental relationships.

The Mendebaldea Sheltered Accommodation facility is in a residential area of Pamplona, very close to the hospital district, the General Library of Navarre, the Higher School of Music and a Carrefour hypermarket. It is designed for people aged between 18 and 55 years who have a mild or moderate mental disability These people are independent and have skills that allow them to function in the community with direct support from carers.

Mendebaldea Sheltered Accommodation gives users a normalised living environment, where they form part of a community of residents in a family type living regime. It offers comprehensive care that meets users’ basic needs to maintain or improve personal independence, while facilitating integration and social participation. These functional apartments provide services 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, with help and support from carers to create a healthy environment which encourages well-being, promotes stability and provides opportunities.

The main objective of this social resource is to develop and encourage users’ growth by enabling them to learn different adaptive skills such as home life, personal care, health and safety, leisure and time, usefulness in the community, communication, social skills and self-management, work and school abilities.

The Las Torchas Sheltered Accommodation is close to the centre of Estrella, near a Health Centre and very close to the bus station. It is designed for people with mild or moderate degree of disability, who are independent and have a certain level of ability to live independently with support.

The sheltered accommodation helps to give independence to people with a moderate degree of disability, through dynamic integration and cohabitation in a family-type setting. Monitors are there to assist and provide care around the clock.
